Kansas riders will be competing for the age group championship titles this weekend in Manhattan, KS at the Tallgrass Classic. On Saturday riders will compete in  a road race that varies from 13 miles to 87 miles depending on the race category. Sunday’s criterium will be held on the campus of Kansas State University.

Riders will also earn KBAR/KBAT points at each of the races. Points earned at the Tallgrass Classic are doubled which make these races even more important for those who wish to place well in those competitions.

With winter weather racing towards the area, yes really winter weather is headed across the middle of the country, the forecast will be tricky so make sure you check the weather conditions because it could be wet and there is even a chance snow will still be on the ground if the forecasted totals end up being true.
