We have over $2500 in cash and prizes for participants this year. Registration is now open!
The event returns to Blue Valley Park in Kansas City, Missouri. The course was well received last year, offering riders challenging terrain in a beautiful setting. The park offers varied terrain, technical sections, off-camber traverses, fast straights, barriers, some unique features, and great spectating. Race info is available on the Race Flyer.
World Cup Tune-Up
The race weekend will serve as perfect prep for the following two weekends’ World Cup races in Iowa City and Waterloo, Wisconsin. This is one of your only chances to earn ranking points to improve your start position.
KBCXR Series Opener
Prologue Cross serves as the 2017 KBCXR/KBCXT Series opener. Individual and team points will be awarded towards the KBCXR/KBCXT per the 2017 KCA rules. 2016 KBCXR winners receive one free entry in this race and should contact us for their discount code.
Charitable Partner – Project Warmth
We ask that all participants and spectators bring new or gently used coats, blankets, hats, gloves, or scarfs to donate. We are also collecting monetary donations to support Project Warmth. Please consider adding an additional donation amount to your registration. We have made it easy by offering riders the option to donate an amount of their choosing during the registration process. Last year we were able to donate about $150 in addition to the clothing donations!
Online Registration Discount and Prizes
We are going to be giving away some special prizes to those who pre-register for the event online. Red Robin has provided gift cards to giveaway. Swiftwick is providing some prizes as well.
We also have some great prizes from the Kansas City Lyric Opera, riders who register by the given deadlines, will be entered to win tickets to the Lyric Opera’s production of Everest!
