The end of summer is in sight but there is still plenty to do on two wheels in the Midwest. Check out the Midwest cycling events.


The Sunflower State Games Cross Country MTB race will be held on Saturday at Lake Perry State Park just north of Lawrence.

Kansas City area residents looking to hone their bike handling and climbing skills can head over to Lenexa on Sunday to participate in the On Bike Skills Clinic and Basic Hill Climbing Clinic.

Kansas City Tuesday Night Worlds is going still going strong. This year’s new venue is in Leawood.


This weekend’s Cornhusker State Games, held in Lincoln, consists of a time trial and circuit race.


Arkansas racers will be competing for the State Championship title in Lincoln at Saturday’s Arkansas State Championship Road Race.


The Prairie State Cycling Series is still underway and goes through the 27th.
