FreeWheels for Kids has announced the opening of a part-time Program Assistant. Located in Kansas City, Kansas, FreeWheels for Kids’ mission is to, “empower kids by teaching leadership skills and promoting healthy lifestyles through bicycle programming”. The organization runs various during and after school programing such as the Earn-a-Bike program, Bicycle LEssons and Safety Training (BLAST), and Bike Club which allows children to evaluate their community and make changes, get exercise, and learn about mapping, pollution, and other topics.
