This weekend is the Kansas State Time Trial Championship which will be held in Walnut, KS. Riders will race against the clock on Saturday, June 15th. The first rider is off at 9:00 AM. Riders will take off in one minute intervals. Walnut, KS is located about 2 hours south of Kansas City.
The 40K course is “L” shaped which means riders will be facing changing wind directions throughout the race. The course has good, smooth pavement and low traffic. Elevation gain is minimal but there are rollers that will challenge the legs of the riders as they push themselves to the limit to gain as much time as possible on their rivals.
