Friday’s unseasonable warm-up into the mid 50s taunted KC area riders as Saturday brought a massive cool-down with 24 hour temperature change of -40 degrees. The first riders to hit the course were met by temperatures in the teens and below zero wind chills. Despite the cool weather many hardy Kansas City area riders hit the course for the penultimate race of the 2013 season.
Cross Off the Old Year, the final race of the 2013 season, will be held on the 31st.
